Organic Lamb

In our debut What’s Cooking? video, my son, Step, and I prepare a healthy rack of lamb dish. As with all meat, poultry and dairy products, I suggest choosing lamb which has been raised organically, rather than conventionally.

Why is lamb one of my favorite animal proteins? Not only is lamb one of the best dietary sources of L-carnitine, a nutrient our bodies needs to generate ATP (energy), but it goes so well with two of my favorite medicinal herbs: garlic and rosemary. Bon appetit!

    Loved this video on lamb. So informative. I only have 2 questions: 1 – I thought you weren’t supposed to cook with olive oil? and 2. I thought ‘rare’ meat was bad for you as it doesn’t kill any bacteria in the meat?
