Earthing/grounding

Grounding / Earthing

Have you ever thought about why it feels so good to walk barefoot in the grass or on the beach? You’re “grounding” or “Earthing,” that is, connecting with the Earth’s natural healing energy. Grounding is one of the earliest forms of healing (I call it “caveman medicine”), and ultimately can help reduce inflammation in the body. In this video I introduce grounding / Earthing as a healing modality and briefly discuss its antioxidant capabilities.

Going barefoot has been my favorite thing since I was born on the island (Galveston, Tx). Now that I live in Fort Worth, and the yard has fire ants, I have to not only wear shoes, but socks as well when I garden!! And, because I’m told I am Type 2 diabetic, I’m advised not to go barefooted – growing old (80 yr) is not for weenies, ao I still sneak out shoeless now and then……yeah, barefoot in the park!

I have a grounding half sheet which I love. I sleep much better. It seems like my body craves this. I’m looking forward to buying another half sheet for when we vacation. I also feel calmer and more focused during the day. I’m looking forward to also going barefoot this summer!!!!

It is a half-sized cotton sheet that is placed on part of the bed (usually across the foot of it) and is plugged into the grounding port of a three-pronged electrical outlet. Because grounding sheets have woven-in silver fibers through which to conduct the Earth’s energy, they can be expensive to make and sell; hence, some companies offer a half-sheet to still provide grounding benefits, but at a lesser price.

As diabetics can develop nerve damage –which may manifest as numbness– in their feet, they are often advised not to walk barefoot – inside or outside of the house to avoid accidentally cutting themselves, stubbing toes, etc. which could easily lead to greater problems like infections or foot ulcers.

As an alternative to walking around outside, Dr. Sinatra suggests that diabetics with nerve damage in their feet bring chairs outside to sit in, and then remove their shoes and place their feet on the ground in front of the chairs, but ONLY after carefully checking the ground for potentially sharp objects like glass, rough stones, etc.

I’m happy to know that “Grounding” is at last into the mainstream
in Health Science. I became aware of this reality as I trained as a
    Bioenergetic Therapist. Thank you

I still do not find my score. This is my second attempt at submitting my name and email. Is it necessary to do this more than one time?

Third try; still no score. Seems this was set up solely for advertising purposes.
