Dr. Drew Sinatra earned his undergraduate degree in Neuroscience, and continued his education with a master’s degree in Acupuncture, and a doctorate degree in Naturopathic Medicine. His interest in medicine began with a personal experience battling severe childhood asthma. After a decade of relying on inhalers and steroids to breathe, he weaned himself off all medications by radically changing his diet, and incorporating holistic therapies including botanical medicines, meditation techniques, homeopathy, and yoga therapy into his daily life.
Dr. Sinatra has practiced integrative medicine since 2008, first in Vancouver, British Columbia, and now in Mill Valley, California. He is incredibly passionate about educating the public and his patients about optimal wellness, and has learned over the years that restoring health is not a destination, but, rather, a journey that continually requires an integration of body, mind, and spirit.
At the Clear Center of Health located in Mill Valley, California, Dr. Sinatra takes a unique and integrated approach, blending the best of functional, biological, and conventional medicines. He operates a family medicine practice with a focus on treating complex disease, and illness where traditional medicine has failed.
Dr. Drew Sinatra has written several articles as an HMDI contributing editor, and recently submitted a chapter for an integrative nutritional cardiology textbook titled “Naturopathic Medicine in the Prevention and Treatment of Cardiovascular Disease.”
Dr. Sinatra is a member of the California Naturopathic Doctors Association (CNDA), American College of Nutrition (ACN), and International Lyme and Associated Diseases Society (ILADS).
When Dr. Sinatra is not spending time at work or with his wife and young son, he avidly enjoys yoga, kiteboarding, and frequenting farmers markets and local food co-ops.
