Type 2 diabetes ranks as one of the world’s fastest-growing chronic illnesses. According to the World Diabetes Foundation, the prevalence has reached epidemic proportions.
Medical experts say no cure for diabetes exists. They emphasize the need for prevention to “stem the tide.” Earthing, however, shows promise as a therapeutic strategy.
Although we cannot offer strong scientific evidence, such as large clinical studies, to prove that Earthing has an impact on diabetes, our experience and observations over a fifteen year period clearly indicate that Earthing indeed holds great promise as a preventive and therapeutic strategy.
*Diabetics do need to exercise caution when going barefoot outdoors due to the complications associated with neuropathy / potential damage to numbed feet. My recommendation for diabetics is that they place their bare feet on the ground while sitting in a chair and only after carefully examining the ground for sharp, or other potentially harmful, objects.
